What makes it taste like candy is the presence of miracle berry from richberry. Try this cocktail recipe without using added-sugar but achieving the yummier taste that you've been wanting.
Ingredients:
1 cup ice cubes, or as needed
3 (1.5 fluid ounce) cranberry juice
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) berry-flavored vodka
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) peach schnapps
½ (1.5 fluid ounce) triple sec
2 tablespoons lemon juice concentrate
Directions:
Fill a cocktail shaker 1/2-full with ice. Pour cranberry juice, vodka, lemon, peach schnapps, and triple sec over ice. Cover shaker and shake vigorously; strain into a martini glass.
Mocktail (non-alcoholic):
If you wish to have a delicious non-alcoholic version, please feel free to take the alcohol out and follow the same procedure.
Consume Miracle Berry: Just before digging in, chew 1 or more freeze-dried miracle berry (this can also be done during the preparation of ingredients). Ensure to remove pits to avoid a bitter taste.
Fact: The active ingredient miraculin from miracle berry will turn sour foods such as lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, non-fat yoghurt and other citrus food to taste sweet without adding sugar. We recommend two halves or 2 servings for maximum effectiveness. Make sure to follow instructions from the back of the packaging.
